Do You Have What It Takes To Make Our Target Elite Competitive Program?

WHAT IS REP SOCCER?

REP or Competitive Soccer is the highest level of youth soccer in Canada, it's regulated by Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer for growth in its National program. Players at this level are considered elite and are selected by clubs in district soccer,they are also open for selection in the provincial and national program. Coaches at this level are fully licensed and experienced in Youth Soccer Development. Players play provincial, district and travel for tournaments throughout USA or CANADA.

WHAT IS EXPECTED AT THIS LEVEL?

Players at this elite level are required to train minimum 2 times a week and 2 games a week, dependant on the age group and the LPTD rules set by Ontario Soccer. The commitment level in this bracket is essential in the development of the player. They are also exposed to in classroom tactical training and video review of games that have been recorded. Players are assessed annually for development and improvement. Players here are entered into competitions in districts, Showcases, Festivals and friendlies with elite level squads both abroad and locally. Top competition is the priorities. Players go through one physical fitness session and 2 tactical training sessions a week. Playing time is not guaranteed its earned and based on performance, so practice is essential portion.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR REP?

To enter this program, players must first be selected and go on Trial for minimum 3 practices, and the player will be accessed by their team coach. Player must request a Trial through the club or directly with the coach. They must get an appoved trail form and attend three practices. Send your name, date of birth to inquiries@fcemery.com or call 416-896-1284 to get a trial date. Once you recieve a trial date from the coach you begin the assessment process, if accepted player can begin the online or in person registration process. If denied the players has an option of entering our Academic Development program to work on their weaknesses and then get promoted when ready, so the doors are always open after trial date.

WHATS INCLUDED IN MY REGISTRATION FEE?

Fees for summer run from June to Sept and winter from Sept to June. They include Practice Jersey, Game Kits (Home and Away Jersey), Bag and track suit, They include 2 practices a week and 1 game a week. Training performed by certified coach. Extra training and tournaments are not included in cost but dependent on the coach are added on a per team basis.

HOW ARE THE TRAINING SESSIONS AND COACHES?

Coaches at this level must be certified and have minimum 5 years training and development within our system, and must be certified with Ontario Soccer. They are continually upgraded by the club to learn the latest techniques and methodologies. They must also have minimum over 5 years of playing experience. Our club believes that coaches and trainers for our elite squads require discipline and inspiration to get the best out of the player. Our session plans are designed by all our staff and Technical Director to push for constant improvement and increase the players development. Pushing players to perform is an essential tool in continual growth of the players skill and talent.
