ACTIVE START PROGRAM U3-U7

A fun, introductory program designed to introduce young stars to the basics of soccer in a playful and engaging wa.The primary goal is to help children develop basic motor skills, coordination, and a love for the game of soccer, while promoting early socialization and teamwork. This program focuses on creating a positive, energetic environment where kids can explore soccer concepts through simple activities and games. This program consists of Parents and Tots (U3-U4) and Skill Builders Program (U5-U7). The program is designed to allow progression to our pre-rep program, with more ease.


PARENT AND TOT U3-U4

Parent and Tot is a dynamic and interactive program designed to introduce toddlers to the basics of soccer in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Focusing on early physical literacy the program encourages exploration through age-appropriate activities that foster key motor skills such as balance, co-ordination, and agility.

1. 45 minutes training session geared for fun and basic co-ordination drills

2. 3v3 intructional play


SKILL BUILDER U5-U7

A typical session is (45 minutes or 1hr) in length and comprises approximately 20% physical literacy activities and 80% soccer-related games. Activities will focus on 3 areas where development is key to the growth of young athletes and soccer players:

1. Physical Literacy (motor skills; i.e. running, jumping, kicking, throwing/grabbing etc.)

2. Ball Mastery comfort on the ball and ball manipulation (i.e. ball rolls, insteps etc.)

3. 1v1 (Attacking and defending)

4. 3v3 Instructional play


These activities give your child more time with the ball and plenty of chances to succeed and have fun while starting to experience playing on a team and competing in small-sided games.The price includes a ball, full kit (1 jersey, shorts, and socks). Players must bring their own shin pads and soccer cleats.

Orientation Week: the first week of the program will allow the players to meet their coaches, collect uniforms, and get familiar with their teammates. No games/training during the first week. For further information or inquiries please contact inquiries@fcemery.com. Limited size group so sign up quickly. After training 30 min game using 3v3 format depending on size of group and ages. The goal is to optimize ball touch and control, 1000 touches by end of season

    Notes

  • Players MUST bring their own shin pads and soccer cleats to ensure player safety
  • If you start the program after the orientation week, program manager will bring your uniform to the next session
  • The Club reserves the right to change field locations, days of week, and time of play based on field availability and registration numbers.
  • Orientation Week: the first week of the program will allow the players to meet their coaches, collect uniforms, and get familiar with their teammates. No games/training during the first week.
  • Level of Coaching: Community Courses and/or Children's Licensed Coaches certified by Canada Soccer & the National Coaching Certification Program.
