The Fundamentals Program is tailored for young stars who are eager to take their soccer skills to the next level. This program is the bridge into our Competitive programs. This program follows the guidelines set by Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer to prioritize individual growth. Players will experience a combination of structured training and internal game play.A typical session is 1 hour in length and comprises approximately 20% physical literacyactivities and 80% soccer-related games. Activities will focus on the areas where development is key to the growth of young athletes and soccer players:
1. Physical Literacy (motor skills; i.e. running, jumping, kicking, throwing/grabbing etc.)
2. Game Like Scenarios (scrimmages and small-sided challenges)
3. Ball Mastery/1v1These activities give your child more time with the ball and plenty of chances to succeed and have fun while starting to experience playing on a team and competing in small-sidedgames.
